Hours, visits, billed revenue and expected pay at every clinic in one table. Then the same number again with the commute counted, because a clinic quoting more per hour can pay less per day.

Work done in August can sit unpaid into October. You cannot tell whether the insurer has not paid, or has paid and the clinic has not passed it on. Those are different problems.

Whether the drive is worth it
The far clinic pays more per hour and costs more per day. Which wins depends on how long the day is, and nobody has ever done that arithmetic for you.

Most people never claim this
Driving between two clinics on the same day is deductible
Home to your first clinic is commuting and is not deductible. Travel between two workplaces on the same day is business travel and is, at 73 cents a kilometre for 2026. We read it off your own schedule and total it for you.
Keep a log; this is an estimate from your calendar, not a record. Your accountant will want both.

Add your clinics
One row per place you work. Name, address, and how that clinic pays you: percent, flat per visit, or hourly, and whether they pay on invoiced or collected.
Add your car
Home address and fuel use. We measure the distance to each clinic and pull the current fuel price for your area from Statistics Canada.
Connect a calendar
Paste the calendar link from each clinic's Jane. Hours and visits fill in on their own from then on, and the totals follow.

Questions practitioners ask
- Can my clinic see this?
- No. Your account is yours. Compensation rules, travel costs and totals are visible only to you, and clinics you work at cannot see each other.
- Do I need my clinic's permission?
- For your own calendar feed, no. Jane gives each practitioner their own private calendar link from their staff profile.
- What if a clinic does not use Jane?
- Enter the hours yourself, or upload an export. The pay and travel maths does not depend on where the schedule came from.
- Is this tax advice?
- No. It is an estimate from your own schedule, meant to make the conversation with your accountant shorter.
